The Mountain Cambridge School Online is an extension education platform created due to the success achieved by The Mountain Cambridge School, which has been dedicated to educating children using whole brain / thinking teaching tools since 1995.  It became an accredited Cambridge School in 2010 and our phenomenal achievements can be viewed at www.themcs.co.za

The need to provide an online platform, giving families who might otherwise not have access to a solid, reliable curriculum (with bench-marking on a worldwide scale) resulted in the establishment of MCS Online. This obviously also benefits home-schoolers who insist on a quality curriculum, tutor support and guidance.

Our tutors blended learning approach ensures the learner is supported individually and each subject has an dedicated teacher for specialist assistance.

Our qualified teachers guide and assist learners throughout their Cambridge Journey.  Dedicated tutors, regular assessments and communication ensures parents’ peace of mind.

We are proud to be part of the world’s largest international community of schools.

MCS Online offers a range of internationally accepted qualifications including Cambridge’s A levels, AS and IGCSE. University of Cambridge International Examinations is the world’s largest provider of international qualifications for 14-19 year olds. The Cambridge International Curriculum is designed to teach students how to learn and to go on learning. Our role goes beyond helping students achieve good results, and beyond giving students passports for progression to university or employment. We give our students a curriculum that will bring lifelong success in tomorrow’s world.

Cambridge International Qualifications are welcomed at the world’s leading universities – Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, Oxford and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Cambridge qualifications are recognized locally by the South African Matriculation Board for entrance into South African Universities. In order to comply with the requirements for Matric Exemption certain subject groupings are required. We will guide our students in their subject choices to ensure compliance with the Matriculation Board’s requirements should they intend going on to University.
